I have been a EEE pc user since the 30th Jan 2008. I got the eeepc At Platinum Solutions Ltd, 237 Tottenham Court Road Platinum Solutions Ltd
Hopefully I will be able to upgrade to the eeepc 1000 soon - 29th aug 08

- Temperature / heat
If you do " sudo modprobe thermal " and then
" cat /proc/acpi/thermal_zone/TZ00/temperature " in the command line you should get the temp of your eeepc. Thanks to CharlieA in #eeepc on freenode.
